Well i am new at this so i guess ill just start with this, i am crazy about hockey cards that's for sure, they are like half of my life (not really). I was 6 when i got my first hockey cards, and ever since then I have just added the nicest cards to my collection. I only really have about 100 really nice cards because I just started doing online trading about a year ago. I do of course have probably 5,000-7,000 other cards especially nice oldies but I keep those in binders and shoe boxes. Now i am a leafs fan, but I'm a very picky leafs fan I only like to collect the players on the team, or really old players like Gilmour, Sittler,Salming etc...
For the current roster its everything, any player that plays on the leafs currently i collect but they also have to be in leafs uniform, yes im that picky.
My favourite players are Dion Phaneuf and Nazem Kadri,
My best card is probably a Dion Phaneuf 10-11 Certified base parallel patch /5 which means they are limited, only 5 in the world.
Of course not every hockey card is numbered and not all numbered /5. There are many different numberings such as 999, 699, 199, 100 50, 25,15,10 etc...
So as I start my blogging journey I will be showing different cards i get in the mail from trades or sales.
